A HOUSE

Dance / Installation / Live-Music
Emi Miyoshi, SHIBUI Kollektiv, A HOUSE, Dance, Installation, Christian Dierstein

Dance, installation, music - the attempt to connect bodies and objects performing on three levels and to shed light on the changes in their relationship and function is the focus of A HOUSE, the new work of Emi Miyoshi. By means of an architectural choreography, the Japanese choreographer brings the dancers and individual objects together to form an overall object, a house that undergoes a constant transformation through the playful interaction of the actors with the material and its bodies. Together with the drummer Christian Dierstein, the stage set becomes an instrument: Objects roll through the space, commute on ropes, are pulled across the floor with ropes, the floor vibrates - a differentiated background noise is created.

Appreciating the other and integrating it into a common space is the concern of Emi Miyoshi, transported by means of abstract artistic treatment.
